We had a wonderful time. We were busy each day on Maui, and then totally relaxed on Lana'i Maui: The Hana Tour was great-so glad Richard was driving! The sights are beautiful, can understand why people want to live on that side of the island. We went zip lining at Kapalua (fun experience!) The Sheraton was a good fit for us-liked that it was at the end of the walkway-less congested. The facial at the Hyatt was a wonderful suggestion - plus a scenic walk each way. We enjoyed the Feast at Lele Luau a beautiful setting, and we had a front row table for the sunset and show. Dinner at Mama's Fish House was a relaxing end to our trip -thanks for all of the birthday treats. Lana'i: Mike played golf on both courses, and was able to drive me around on a cart at the end of the day to see the views! We had breakfast one morning at the Lodge (before he played golf), and then I walked down to town (was able to catch the shuttle from there). We had a nice dinner at the Hotel Lana'i restaurant - best dessert ever (chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with ice cream!) Had a massage at the Manele Spa - wonderful. Rented a jeep for 1 day - that was plenty with the bumpy roads! Beach, pool, beach, pool, etc. What's not to like? The service at the resort is top notch. I can understand why people return year after year.
Thanks for your help. We are already thinking of another "excuse" for a future Hawaii trip!
